Kivu Jobs: vacancies and CVs in Rwanda

Part of Kivu Super App (kivu.site). In the app this section is called Kivu Jobs.

Open Kivu

Kivu Jobs is the work section of Kivu Super App. Employers post vacancies, and people who look for work post their CVs. Each post has a title, a category, a description and, if the author wants, a salary range, links and CV files. The other side reads the post and writes in Kivu Chat or calls.

Kivu Jobs is a bulletin board, not a recruitment agency. Kivu does not hire, does not check employers or candidates and takes no commission. Posting a vacancy or a CV is free, and contacting the author is free. Nobody should pay to get a job.

What is good about it

Limits, and what protects you

What to knowWhat protects you
Kivu does not check employers. A vacancy can be posted by anyone with an account, and Kivu cannot confirm that the company or the job is real.Never pay to get a job, an interview, training or a "registration". Look up the company, meet at its real office in the daytime, and do not send copies of your ID before you are sure. Use the report button; the team bans accounts that cheat. Fraud is a matter for the police.
Kivu does not check candidates. A CV is written by its author.Employers should check documents, call previous employers and agree on a trial period before trusting a new worker with money or goods.
Kivu cannot confirm what is inside an attached file or behind a link.Open files and links only when the post looks honest, and never type passwords or Mobile Money PINs on a page opened from a link.
Kivu is not a party to the work agreement and does not handle salaries, contracts or disputes.Agree on the salary, the duties and the pay day in writing before you start. Labour disputes are handled under Rwandan labour law.
The salary in a post is written by its author and is not checked.Confirm the amount and how it is paid before you accept the job.
If you attach your CV and a phone number, signed-in users can open them.Put in your CV only what you are ready to show to strangers; leave out your ID number and home address. You can post without a phone and answer in Kivu Chat first. Delete the post when you have found work.
A published post cannot be edited in the app.Delete it and post it again. This is free, and the new post is checked again.
Posts do not expire, so an old vacancy may still be shown after the position is filled.Ask in chat whether the position is still open before you travel to an interview.
There are only 6 categories for now, and no search by words.Choose the nearest category or "Other" and put the profession in the title, so that it is easy to notice in the list.
Kivu works in Rwanda only for now, and it is new: the public launch is October 2026, so the number of vacancies is still small.Real numbers are open to everyone at kivu.site/stats. Keep using your other ways of looking for work or staff as well.

What Kivu Jobs does not do

How Kivu earns from this section

From Jobs, Kivu earns only when the author of a vacancy or a CV chooses to buy a boost. There is no fee to post, no fee to apply and no commission on hiring.

Later, if users need them, Kivu plans subscriptions for businesses and advertising. Charging job seekers for access to vacancies is not planned.
