What is good about it

Limits, and what protects you

What to knowWhat protects you
Kivu does not write, edit or check the articles. A mistake in an article is the publisher's mistake.Every article shows its publication and a "Read original" link. Check important news on the publisher's own site or with a second source.
Articles are in English only and are not translated, also when the app is set to another language. There are no sources in Kinyarwanda yet.For news in Kinyarwanda, use the sites of local publishers for now.
Only a short list of publications is collected, one to three for each tab. It is not all the news of a country. The sources are named on this page and on every article. For a wider view, open the publishers' sites from the "Read original" links.
News is collected automatically at intervals, so it is not live. A very recent event can be missing for some time. Each article shows how long ago it was published. For breaking news, open the publisher's site.
Each tab keeps only the latest 30 articles. There is no archive and no search.Use "Read original" to open and keep an article on the publisher's site.
Sometimes the full text of an article cannot be shown, and a publisher's feed can stop working for a while. The "Read original" link still opens the article on the publisher's site.
